vStor Network Storage Supports Multiple DV Streams

South Hackensack, NJ - ProCon Technology has announced new pricing for its vStor shared-network video storage, designed for DV and SD video capturing and editing applications like Avid Xpress, Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple Final Cut Pro, the company announced.
Multiple editing workstations can share storage and access content through an Ethernet. The output can be sent to tape or air directly, the company describes.
The V1000-2U1T unit supports up to 12 DV25 Streams, with 960 GB raw storage capacity in a 2RU 19" rackmount. Eight removable HDD bays, a CD-ROM drive, dual GigE ports Ethernet interfaces, RAID 0, 1 & 5, management software, real-time optimization and fault-tolerance features are included.
