Switronix Adds New Battery V-Mounts

Rockville Centre, NY - Switronix has added new V-Mount Plate products to their PRO-X battery system line.
The additions include two models of a camera mountable V-plate, a three-stud to V-Plate adapter, a HotSwap adapter, and a V-plate adapter which provides both 12v and 7.2v for DV camcorders.
The most unique addition to the lineup is the GP-TS Hotswap adapter which allows the user to connect two V-mount batteries onto one camera. When the GP-TS (GP-TS1 pictured) is coupled with two XP-L130S batteries, the adapter supplies the user with 260 watts of power with a total weight of under 6 pounds.
One other addition is the GP-S/7.2, which is a small V-Mount bracket which can be mounted on a belt. The unit allows the operation of a DV camcorder and on-board light from a V-Mount battery pack. A XP-L90S, 90wh battery has been used with the GP-S/7.2 to operate a DV camcorder and 20 wh light for 3.5 hrs of continuous runtime.
