Sonic Studio Releases HD Version of Flagship Application

Plymouth, MN - Sonic Studio, LLC has begun distribution of version 1.9.1 of its digital audio workstation (DAW) for the Macintosh platform.
SonicStudio HD version 1.9.1 is the latest incarnation of the SonicStudio line, the first professional desktop digital audio production system. Two years of development have culminated in version 1.9.1’s release, bringing improved functionality and stability, the manufacturer reports.
The Sonic Studio product line is comprised of the flagship HD high resolution PCM audio production and mastering workstation and attendant hardware and software options. SonicStudio HD is a combination of hardware processing boards, external I/O units, and application software which runs exclusively on Apple Computer’s Mac OS platform.
Sonic Studio, LLC offers a selection of hardware interface, processor, and CD imaging options. There are also a number of third-party products which are qualified and approved for use with the SonicStudio HD workstation.
SonicStudio HD has set many precedents for the industry, with such firsts as support for the AES-EBU standard for 24 bit word length and the DVD-Video–mandated standard for 96 and 192 KHz sample rates, as well as multitasking DSP and double precision data paths. Version 1.9.1 of SonicStudio HD represents just one in a new group of offerings designed specifically for discriminating media production professionals.
