Samsung Unveils Mobile Phone with Hard Drive

Busan, Korea - Samsung Electronics has unveiled a mobile phone with mega-pixel camera and an internal hard disc drive.
The model SPH -V5400 is equipped with a one-inch diagonal, 1.5 GB hard disc drive, expanding the conventional memory capacity of mobile phones from current 100 MB capacities. In addition, the phone boasts a high-resolution (QVGA) 2.2-inch liquid crystal display and includes an MP3 player, electronic book and Korean-English/English-Korean dictionaries. A powerful microphone enhances the camcorder function, while dual speakers provide a 3D sound effect, the company describes.
The phone will be available in Korea in September.
