Edirol P-1 Photo Presenter Introduced

Nashville, TN - Edirol recently introduced its P-1 audio/visual performance tool, combining photo presentation, audio playback, MIDI playback and sequencing, as well as V-LINK compatibility.
The P-1 can hold up to 80 still images and a number of audio & MIDI files for instant recall. The P-1 can trigger up to 30 frames per second, making it ideal for stop-frame animation, the manufacturer reports.
Audio can be linked to picture files, allowing the P-1 to playback appropriate music or commentary for the selected image source. This is particularly effective for photomontage presentations and memorials.
The P-1 has both line & mike input, allowing the user to record audio directly into the P-1 without the need of a computer. Pictures can also be loaded directly into the P-1 from a PC Memory card adapter, allowing import of pictures from a digital camera.
The P-1 has a built in virtual keyboard for creating titles that can be keyed over pictures without a computer. Audio and video output connections allow the signal to be recorded on videocassette or DVD.
