Azden Delivers New Handheld UHF Microphone
July 22, 2004
Franklin Square, NY - Azden Corporation is delivering its new UHF handheld microphone - the 10HT.
Designed to work seamlessly with the on-camera 100UPR receiver, the new mic features Azden’s special surface coating to reduce handling noise. Using an electret-condenser unidirectional element, the 10HT is designed with low-noise PLL circuitry to allow the user to select any one of 63 UHF channels to assure interference free reception in the 794-806MHz range, the manufacturer reports.
The new microphone uses two commonly available alkaline “AA” batteries to operate for better than 8 hours. The 10HT is 230mm (9") long and 44mm (1.73") in diameter.
The 10HT is the second transmitter in the new line-up of small on-camera UHF equipment from Azden. The other is the 10BT body-pack transmitter. Both are designed to work with the 3 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 13/16" 100UPR on-camera receiver.
The 10HT retails at $215.00; complete handheld systems retail at $465.00, and body-pack/lavalier systems retail at $450.00. The 10HT is in stock and available for immediate delivery.
