Seattle, WA - Streambox Inc. announced availability its Streambox ACT-L3 Portable Encoder Intel Edition for portable news gathering and video production applications.
The ACT-L3 portable encoder is an extremely powerful solution that delivers full D1 broadcast quality interlaced video over public and private IP based networks. The system includes advanced FEC (forward error correction) to recover lost packets and store and forward video file capabilities.
Streambox ACT-L3 Portable Encoder can be deployed in few minutes, the manufacturer reports - add only a DV camera and a network connection. The live video feeds and video files are received as contribution videos in the broadcast studio on an ACT-L3 decoder equipped with SDI or base-band video output.
