InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2 Ships with HP Pavilion PCs

Fremont, CA - InterVideo, Inc. is now providing WinDVD Creator 2, its movie-making software for HP Pavilion notebook and desktop PCs. InterVideo WinDVD, the company's playback software, is also included on the HP notebook and desktop PCs.
With InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2 and an HP Pavilion PC equipped with a DVD burner, users have a complete, ready-to-use multimedia solution. InterVideo's software lets them quickly capture, edit, author and burn professional-looking DVDs or VCDs using a single, integrated interface.1
This eliminates the need to learn and switch between several applications. To simplify home video sharing, WinDVD Creator supports all the DVD recording formats, including the DVD+/-VR, DVD-Video and CD formats.
By connecting a camcorder or VCR to the IEEE 1394 port or one of the USB 2.0 ports on PCs equipped with an analog capture card, raw video footage can be captured to the computer's hard drive for editing 2. Using WinDVD Creator's editing tools, users can then remove unwanted scenes and enhance the video with titles, transitions, effects, background music, or DVD menus before burning a disc.
With the software's designer menu templates, even inexperienced users can create videos they'll be proud to share. For added convenience, the software includes instant playback of edits--users can preview their changes without having to wait while the video is rendered.
In addition to WinDVD Creator, WinDVD and InterVideo Home Theater are included with other HP computing systems.
Consumers who want additional CD and DVD burning capabilities can upgrade to WinDVD Creator Platinum 2. For expanded audio/video playback capabilities, users can upgrade to WinDVD Gold or WinDVD Platinum.
