Stow, OH - Audio-Technica is delivering the latest addition to its expanding line of lavalier microphones—the AT898 subminiature cardioid condenser mic.
Intended for high-quality, low-profile operation, the AT898's frequency response is rated from 200 to 15,000 Hz with a signal to noise ratio of 63 dB. The unit operates on battery or phantom power and includes a complete accessory kit.
Its small size and low profile (5 mm in diamter) makes it ideal for applications requiring minimum visibility, the manufacturer describes.
The extensive array of provided accessories includes a clothing clip, viper clip, magnet clip and lanyard (black models only), windscreens, interchangeable single and double mic holders. Accessories available separately include 9.8' (3.0 m) cable permanently attached to mic, TA3F connector at power module.
