MediaSonic Debuts Industry's First HD-Player Network Appliance

Burbank, CA - MediaSonic unveiled its MS9400 High-Definition (HD) Video Player, the HD extension of MediaSonic’s FrEND (Far End Network Device).
The industry’s first HD-player network appliance, the compact MS9400 allows HD playback to be installed in almost any location, moving the intelligence and control out of the central equipment room and closer to the actual video display.
MediaSonic's MS9400 HD FrEND is an MPEG-based HD player that outputs 1920 x 1080i as well as 1280 x 720p. It provides an ideal solution for digital signage, training, education, and other applications in which high-performance 16 x 9 video is required.
With simultaneous HD, S-Video, and Composite SD outputs the MS9400 broad output capabilities are unique within the industry, the manufacturer describes.
