Canopus Announces Support for Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5

San Jose, CA - Canopus has announced support for Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 for the company’s advanced realtime video editing solutions. Canopus’s Premiere Pro 1.5 plug-in will be available soon after Adobe ships Premiere Pro 1.5.
In addition to the advanced features found in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, Canopus NLE customers will continue to enjoy the realtime render-free editing capabilities they are accustomed to with DVStorm2 and DVRaptor RT2. Both products feature Canopus’s high-quality hardware DV codec that processes DV in realtime and leaves more CPU processing power available for realtime effects processing – providing an unmatched realtime multi-track editing experience.
The Premiere Pro 1.5 plug-in will be available at no charge to registered users of DVStorm2 DVRaptor RT2 and ACEDVio from the Canopus Web site. Canopus is offering free upgrade copies of Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 software to customers who received Adobe Premiere Pro included with their DVStorm2 products. Customers who purchased DVStorm2 Ultra, DVStorm2 Pro Plus, DVStorm2 Pro Ultra, which included full versions of Adobe Premiere Pro software, will be able to receive free upgrades to their Adobe Premiere Pro software. Canopus customers who purchased ACEDVio Ultra after March 20, 2004, are also eligible for a free Premiere Pro 1.5 upgrade.
