Warren Allgyer to Head Pinnacle's Asia Pacific Sales

Mountain View, CA - Pinnacle Systems, Inc. announced that Warren Allgyer, formerly Vice President of Sales in the Asia Pacific region of Pinnacle's Broadcast & Professional division has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales for the region. Allgyer will be responsible for managing all sales activities in that region, from beginners to broadcasters, the company reported.
"Warren joined us over a year ago now and has successfully managed our broadcast & professional business in Asia Pacific," said Patti S. Hart, Chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Systems. "I am very pleased to promote Warren to Senior Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific and look forward to his contributions in this expanded role."

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Allgyer was at Kasenna, a pre-IPO startup, where he was VP of Worldwide Sales. Before that, he was President of Panasonic Broadcast USA and before that VP of Panasonic Systems Solutions business. He also coordinated Panasonic's sponsorship of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. Before joining Panasonic, Allgyer enjoyed a 20-year career in broadcasting at the local station, network station, and television network levels, including 13 years at NBC in New York.
