Las Vegas, NV - Matrox Graphics Inc. announced the Parhelia PCI 256 MB graphics card, featuring video input and output support, renowned dual-display plus TV output technology and What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) video output plug-ins for leading editing and compositing applications.
WYSIWYG video output plug-ins, which enable unique preview capabilities with Parhelia, are offered for Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop, Discreet 3ds max and NewTek LightWave 3D.
Ideal for PCI environments such as servers, Linux platforms and PCI workstations, as well as multi-board configurations, install multiple Parhelia PCI boards in a single PC or pair it up with the Parhelia AGP 8X for extraordinary display real estate, the company describes.
Featuring 256 MB of DDR memory, a PCI-X interface designed for both 33 and 66 MHz buses, as well as Y/C and composite input and output support, the Parhelia PCI boasts the industry’s most advanced multi-display technologies; including the ability to power 9.2 MP panels at 3840 x 2400 @ 24 Hz, through dual 400 MHz RAMDACs. The Parhelia PCI 256 MB card provides remarkable dual-DVI and productivity enhancing Dual-display plus TV output technology, enabling it to power dual 1600 x 1200 @ 32bpp analog outputs and a video monitor, from a single chip. For maximum onscreen real estate, the card's specialized third RAMDAC supports a TripleHead Windows desktop to a maximum resolution of 3840 x 1024 @ 32bpp.
The Parhelia PCI 256 MB graphics card is also the perfect solution for multiple board configurations and when paired with the new Matrox Advanced Synchronization module, provides genlock and frame-lock support with multi-board systems and across several Matrox multi-board platforms.
