ViewCast Delivers Flash Video Streaming

Las Vegas, NV - ViewCast Corporation announced at NAB that its Osprey streaming cards can be used to deliver real-time video to the Macromedia Flash Player, opening up new opportunities for ViewCast users.
The ViewCast streaming products deliver video that can be displayed through Flash Player via the Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX or the Macromedia Flash Video-Streaming Service.
Macromedia Flash Player supports live, streaming video, delivered with
ViewCast Osprey video streaming cards, and Macromedia is demonstrating
VOD and live streaming at NAB.
Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX includes the ability to stream live to the Flash Player for cross-platform streaming, and the ability to synchronize graphics and text with the video stream for superior presentation and display capabilities.
ViewCast video capture cards will also be used to support Macromedia Breeze
-- the rich-media communications and authoring solution that expands the abilities of organizations to conduct online meetings and establish distance-learning programs, the manufacturer describes. Breeze users can use ViewCast cards to integrate real-time streaming video for VOD, live events, IP video conferencing, and real-time collaboration applications.
