Digital Rapids Announces Stream 2.0

Las Vegas, NV - Digital Rapids has added new features and workflow enhancements to its Stream Software, the company has announced.
Stream 2.0 adds to all areas of functionality.
Input has been enhanced with features such as multi-clip batch transcoding, multi-clip to single clip processing and OMF video input. Watch folders has been added as an input option allowing collaborative workgroups to drop files into assigned folders which the Stream software will then process automatically.
Additional output formats include streaming MPEG-2 over UDP, Sorenson ACE (MP4, MOV, Flash, MP3), and image sequences at deck in-points. Publishing and distribution have been enhanced with a DVD publishing feature, automatic e-mail notification, and the optional Copper wirespeed distribution plugin.
The new Java based remote control and monitoring interface provides control of multiple StreamZ servers from any system that supports Java 1.4 or above (including Mac OSX, Linux, Unix, and Microsoft Windows). The remote interface looks and acts just like the local interface, providing a consistent interface for all users.
Stream Software is included with StreamZ Servers and DRC-Stream hardware. Customers who own Stream 1.5 can obtain an upgrade from their Digital Rapids Dealer. The Stream Software is available in the following configurations:
Stream – Live video/audio and digital file ingest, video and audio pre-processing, multiple output file formats, integrated archiving, streaming, publishing and distribution
StreamPro – Adds deck control, batch encoding, image sequence input, e-mail
notification, OMF video input, MPEG2 over UDP, Sorenson ACE
StreamEnterprise – Adds watch folders, Java based remote control and monitoring
interface that can run on any Java enabled operating system, multi-card control
Copper Plugin – All levels of Stream 2.0 support the Copper plugin, adding wirespeed data delivery to the Stream software workflow.
