Adobe Premiere Pro and High Definition Video Production
April 18, 2004
Las Vegas, NV - Adobe Systems Incorporated will demonstrate Premiere Pro with high definition (HD) video solutions during NAB.
BOXX Technologies, Matrox, Canopus, CineForm, Bluefish, Black Magic, and 1 Beyond are among the companies showing new HD solutions based on Adobe Premiere Pro. The wide range of HD solutions available with Adobe Premiere Pro — from HDV to uncompressed 1080i — enables users to select a solution to fit their needs. Adobe Premiere Pro-based HD systems can be configured for as little as US$5000, the company describes.
Adobe offers a scalable platform, as customers move from DV to HD using the familiar Adobe Premiere Pro environment — whether editing DV on a laptop or HD on a networked broadcast system, and Premiere Pro-based systems offer a range of real time effects including transitions, motion, 3D, color correction and titling. Together with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro provides a smooth workflow for a complete HD post-production solution.
