DVD to Pocket PC Software Unveiled

- Makayama has released software for converting DVDs to Pocket PC format for portable viewing in great quality, with stereo sound and in full screen landscape mode, the manufacturer has announced.
With only two clicks, this PC software converts the content of your DVD to a small movie file, using Microsoft's Windows Media 9, which will play on any Windows Mobile 2003 device, such as HP iPaq (pictured). A memory card as small as 128MB is sufficient to store a full length feature film of up to 100 minutes.
The manufacturer warns that the software may only be used to convert personally owned DVDs.
Converted movies run on: all Pocket PC's on Windows Mobile 2003 and higher.
