SAV Enhances Digital A/V Switcher

Paris France - Introduced a year ago, the MX-AIR digital switcher has been expanded with additional inputs, outputs and operational features, the manufacturer describes.
The MX-AIR is a 2 RU video and audio switcher designed for broadcast and live event videography. It is housed in a robust and compact frame, and features a touch screen LCD display, as well as dedicated remote control panel, used to control all operational functions.
Mix, wipe and transitions can be previewed and pre-selected, or manually controlled with a joystick. VTR machine control, audio monitoring and
headphone controls are also featured.
The switcher can process embedded or AES/EBU audio and 4:3 or 16:9 video SDI. Optional DSK's and logo generators can be fitted to the core unit.
No price information was available at press time; the unit will be on display at NAB 2004.
