Glidecam To Unveil New Camera Supports, Accessories

Plymouth, MA - Glidecam has announced it will debut several new product at NAB 2004, including the Glidecam V-35 system, Glidecam V-10 Smooth Shooter, Glidecam L7-Pro Monitor, and Glidecam Vista Head.
The Glidecam V-35 and Glidecam V-10 Smooth Shooter professional body mounted stabilization systems are an exciting new addition to the “V-Series” line of body mounted stabilizers.
The Glidecam L7-Pro (pictured) is a daylight viewable, 16 x 9 / 4 x 3 switchable, NTSC / PAL auto read, LCD monitor. It is ideal for use wherever a compact, lightweight, high quality picture is required, the manufacturer describes. It weighs 1.8 pounds, and is powered by an external 12 volt DC 600mA battery. An SDI version is available.
The Glidecam Vista Head is a full range camera pan-tilt head, with full 360 degree pan and tilt action, set up in both high and low mode. It handles cameras up to 20 lbs. Super smooth high torque motors with 12 volts power. Smooth and accurate joystick control with 15 foot cable and includes a 12 volt AC transformer and power converter that can be used globally.
Final pricing on Glidecam V-10 Smooth Shooter or Glidecam V-35 system was not available at press time; the Glidecam Vista Head is $1899.00 list, the Glidecam L7-Pro is $999.00 List.
