Switronix Intros New PRO-X Battery System
January 28, 2004
Rockville Centre, NY - Switronix Incorporated has introduced their new PRO-X battery system.
The PRO-X system builds upon the technology of Switronix previous battery system, adding an integrated microprocessor-based circuit into their battery packs and a newly developed VERSAchem charging technology.
The new PRO-X battery circuit stores vital information about the battery pack, so the user may access that information stored when connected to a PRO-X Digital Charger, the manufacturer reports. Voltage, current, temperature, charge cycles, are just a few of the figures tracked and recorded by this battery circuit.
The VERSAchem technology, incorporated into every charger in the new line, enables the charger to simultaneously complete all charging tasks, while giving the user the flexibility of charging Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydride and Lithium Ion.
All chargers in the line also integrate a 50w camera power supply. Switronix also has added to their line a new lithium ion, NP battery. The NP-L60 (pictured) is a 60 wh lithium ion NP battery, which features a two-pin power connector to power virtually any 12vdc devices. This is the first time such a battery offers this feature.
The PRO-X NP battery products are immediately available and the Brick battery products will be released in February.
