Speed Razor HD, now in its third year of development, runs on Windows XP and builds on the award winning Speed Razor software, the manufacturer describes. Speed Razor HD 3.0 adds support for Thor HD, a new board from AJA specifically designed for in-sync.
It includes EDL import and export, 10 bit uncompressed HD capture and playback, infinite track editing, support for HD decks such as the Panasonic AJ-HD150 and high quality audio support that allows you to capture from 16 channels of audio embedded in the HD–SDI signal or six channels of audio thact can be accessed via AES/EBU and play back up to six channels of audio either embedded in the HD-SDI signal or via AES/EBU. Image processing is handled at up to 4:4:4:4 to give you the highest possible image quality.
Thor HD is a new board designed specifically for in-sync by AJA Video Systems of Grass Valley, Ca – one of the leading providers of HD and SD I/O equipment to the post production and broadcast industries. Thor HD works with Speed Razor HD 3.0 to produce projects at a quality level second to none. This plug and play board is extremely easy to install and integrate and is backed by a robust three year warranty. Thor HD comes with HD-SDI I/O, AES/EBU audio I/O and optional Hammer (SD SDI / SD component output) or Shcield (RGB / SVGA output).
Boris Red integrates advanced 2D and 3D compositing, industry-leading software DVE technology, robust 3D creation and animation, native vector titling, motion tracking, vector paint, roto-scoping, and Adobe Illustrator file animation and extrusion and more, all in a single plug-in application that works directly inside Speed Razor HD 3.0.
The in-sync bundle combines all the possible toolsets needed for complete soup to nuts professional high definition production in a tightly integrated manner to the PC desktop for under well $10,000.
Pricing and Availability
In-sync SR HD 3.0 bundle is scheduled to public release January 2nd, 2004.
In-sync suggested MSRP is $8999.
Customer currently running SR HD 2.0 on the BOXX platform will be able to upgrade to SR HD 3.0 from in-sync.
