Magix Ships Photostory 2004

Lebanon, IN - Magix AG is shipping PhotoStory on CD & DVD 2004, a software package for the creation of CD and DVD slideshows that can be watched on TV.

Magix PhotoStory on CD & DVD 2004 works with personal photos from digital cameras and scanners and a wide variety of image, video and sound files. It captures photos directly from digital cameras and scanners and automatically restores picture and sound quality, the manufacturer describes.

Among the product's features and requirements:

TWAIN support: Import directly from digital cameras and scanners
Image import: JPEG, BMP, TIFF, PSD, RLE, PNG, photo CD
Video import: AVI, DV AVI (Type 1&2), WMV, MOV, MXV, MPEG 1 & 2
Sound import: Sound from digital cameras, MP3, WAV, Audio CD

Photo overview mode (sort)
Easy Storyboard mode (10 transitions, sorting, title, audio, effects)
4-track Timeline mode (order, insert text, add sound etc.)
Automatic display screen adjustment: Size the image to fit your TV screen
Optimized TV display (color, brightness, and cropping)
On-screen presentation time settings and one-click image rotation (90 / 180 degrees)
Make sensational zooms and panoramic shots with virtual camera effects
Automatic onscreen image display: time to match sound or voice duration


Automatic multimedia DVD menu generation with more than 50 templates
Burn slideshows in VCD, SVCD, DVD, mini DVD
Archive complete photo albums on CD-ROM (including slideshow player)
Burn (S)VCD & DVD including project data which can be re-edited (Re-edit mode)
Continuous loop playback on a DVD player
Analog recording back to VHS tape*
