Panasonic Announces New Mini-DV Camcorders

Secaucus, NJ - Panasonic has announced the AG-DVX100A 24p/30p/60i Mini-DV camcorder, calling it an enhanced version of its AG-DVX100. The AG-DVX100A offers many new user-requested features, the company reports.
Also unveiled was the AG-DVC30, a multi-style 410,000-pixel 3-CCD mini-DV camcorder; the 2.2-pound, multi-function camcorder will offer features such as an infrared nighttime recording mode and 30fps frame recording.
A Panasonic spokesperson told WEV that no further details are available at this time. The cameras will be shown in the US in December, and the company will make further annoucenments at that time, it was reported.
