PixelPops Updates PixelMixer for Photoshop CS
November 11, 2003
Dallas, TX - PixelPops Design has announced the immediate availability of an update for PixelMixer DVD Case Insert & Disc Designer to work with the latest Adobe release, Photoshop CS (see below).
PixelMixer is an easy-to-use program that automates Adobe Photoshop for one-click creation of custom disc packaging.
This new software for videographers and photographers delivers a quick and convenient way to create personalized, professional quality case and disc packaging, the manufacturer describes.
The PixelMixer allows users to choose one or more images from their hard drive and with a click of the mouse turn those images into beautifully designed, personalized disc labels or DVD case inserts. Working with Photoshop 6, 7,
or the new CS, the PixelMixer creates multi-layered .PSD files, keeping the layers intact for easy customization. Options for using horizontal images, such as video freeze frames, or vertical images make it an ideal way for both
videographers and photographers to deliver optical discs to clients in personalized packaging.
The PixelMixer’s easy-to-use interface streamlines the selection of design and style options and launches the automated design process. Multi-layered designs can be completed and ready for printing in less than a minute. The PixelMixer automatically imports user’s company information and logo into the finished design for increased speed and convenience and options for quickly adding multiple images to case backs are also available.
System requirements for the PixelMixer include Adobe Photoshop 6/7/CS running on Windows OS. The PixelMixer joins a line of products PixelPops has created to help videographers and other graphic artists maximize their
efficiency and create professional, beautiful designs including Photoshop training videos and Pop-Ins actions for Photoshop.
The PixelMixer DVD Case Insert & Disc Designer is priced at $150.00 and is now available online directly through PixelPops.
