Portable Multimedia Device To Ship

Toronto, ON - TAZ I, a new drag and drop media management device for playing, organizing, copying and burning digital audio, video and photo files is expected to ship in December, the manufacturer, Tight Systems LLC, reports.
Taz 1 features a four inch on-board video screen, and includes a media editor and compression tools alows users to copy of CD libraries into a variety of digital audio formats (including MP3, Ogg Vorbis and "lossless" Monkey's Ape); to organize and display digital photographs; and to encode, format and playback video files into one of several digital video formats (including MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and DivX).
