Canopus Announces New Line of Smart Scan Converters

San Jose, CA - Canopus' new line of Smart Scan Converters (SSC) will be available in November, including the SSC100 and SSC120EX scan converters that convert PC VGA display out to TV or VCR.
SSC100 and SSC120EX support screen resolution sizes up to 1600x1200 and feature proprietary Canopus Track and Zoom technology, the compnay describes. These capabilities provide the unique ability to track, zoom and output any application window or desktop area to a television, VCR or monitor. Canopus Track and Zoom Technology can dynamically track the area around the mouse pointer, making
it ideal for sharper video presentations or creating focused tutorials.
Canopus's SSC series features one-click mouse operation with advanced controls, including brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, flicker filter, overscan and aspect ratio adjustments.
SSC100 is an internal PCI powered scan converter with a suggested retail price of $179, while SSC120EX is a convenient external USB-powered scan converter with a suggested retail price of $199.
