Media Mixer Version 1.2 Now Available

Manchester, NH - Biznews24 has announced that version 1.2 of Media Mixer is now available. Media Mioxer is a PC-based software authoring application for the creation of multimedia Web and CD content, including HTML, image, audio/video and animation elements.
Features New to Version 1.2
· Templates: Media Mixer includes a number of standard templates, but more importantly allows the user to turn their own custom presentations into templates for re-use by themselves or others. Templates created by the user may make use of all features of Media Mixer and as always, no programming is required!
· Automatic FTP: Media Mixer now includes automatic FTP of completed presentations to user defined hosts or to a Media Mixer Hosting service. This workflow enhancement removes the need for a separate FTP application and prevents site publish errors.
· PowerPoint File Import: Media Mixer 1.2 supports PowerPoint File import - nothing needs to be manually exported from PowerPoint. PowerPoint presentations may be imported as a series of GIF or JPEG images, but more importantly as a series of HTML pages that preserve all PowerPoint defined animations and timings. In addition, the Media Mixer Timeline has new synchronization features designed especially for synchronizing PowerPoint slides with the rest of the Media Mixer presentation.
· Launch Page Enhancements: Media Mixer’s launch page now includes more functionality including automatic detection of language, installed players, and available bandwidth so that presentations may be auto-launched without any intervention from the viewer.
· Interactivity Enhancements: Media Mixer version 1.2 includes new events and actions as well as a high-level Behavior Browser for a presentation level view of interactivity.
· Multiple Edits: Media Mixer now allows multiple edits on Flash, video, and audio tracks to support workflows that include multiple Flash, video, or audio files. Media Mixer also allows switching of multiple Flash, video, or audio tracks within a presentation so that low bandwidth presentations can switch from using video to using Flash or images.
Pricing and Availability
Available immediately, Media Mixer’s list price is $1,495 US. Three packs are $3,995 US and six packs are $7,495 US. Upgrades are free for existing users. Media Mixer Hosting is available at $295 per month and includes web as well as streaming media hosting. As with previous releases, version 1.2 is available online as a free 15 day fully functional trial.
