Anchor Digital Presents DVD Prices Survey Results
October 13, 2003
Brooklyn, NY - The results of the "DVD Prices Nationwide" survey were presented today by Anchor Digital. A preliminary report was first released at WEVA EXPO 2003 in Las Vegas.
The compiled report, the first of its kind, benefits video professionals by allowing them to better gauge their DVD pricing as compared with regional and industry-wide averages, the company reports. For example, a videographer in Florida can see how his DVD prices compare to the rest of the Southeast region as well as other regions in the United States, and the nationwide averages.
The "DVD Prices Nationwide" survey received responses from hundreds of videographers across the United States. The survey asked questions about prices charged by event videographers for straight-copy DVDs, authored DVDs, additional copies, years in business, and volume of events per year. The final report also shows percentages of videographers that outsource their DVD products to a professional DVD production company versus those that burn one in-house.
"DVD Prices Nationwide" is available online at the Anchor Digital website, at:
http://www.anchordigital.com/business/report. Statistics are broken down by eight regions in the United States, with easy navigation to the different regions by use of a clickable map of the U.S. Additional sections include nationwide averages and statistics, as well as summaries and observations.
Anchor Digital, the Leader in Interactive DVD Production, conducted the survey as a service to the videographer community. For inquiries regarding the survey and report, please contact Barry Rosenstock at 718-382-2217.
