Synthetic Aperture Now Shipping Color Finesse

San Juan Capistrano, CA - Synthetic Aperture announced Color Finesse 1.1, a new upgrade to their color correction plug-in for Adobe After Effects, now available for Windows XP and 2000, in addition to Macintosh OS X and OS 9. In addition to working with Adobe After Effects, Color Finesse 1.1 also works with Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro and Discreet Combustion.
Color Finesse offers high-end color correction and enhancement
tools--including multiple color spaces, tonal correction, curve-based
correction, automated color matching and balancing, six-channel secondary
color correction, reference images with split wipes, smart color
legalizing, and waveform monitor and vectorscope displays--previously
available only in dedicated, high-end color correction systems.
Just as the Macintosh version is highly optimized for the Altivec vector
processor found in the G4 and G5 PowerPC, the Windows version is optimized
to take full advantage of the Intel Pentium 4's SSE2 instructions,
multiprocessor support, and Hyper-Threading technology.
In addition to Windows compatibility, Color Finesse 1.1 also adds other new
features, including secondary preview monitor support, preview pan and
zoom, enhanced secondary color correction with additional controls, and
mask and alpha mode previewing.
Color Finesse 1.1 is currently shipping. List price for Color Finesse is
$595. Currently registered users of version 1.0 can download an upgrade to
the Macintosh version of Color Finesse 1.1 for no charge.
