New Pricing for Aurora Video Systems Products

Sterling Heights, MI - Aurora Video Systems is dropping the prices on its line of digital video capture and editing cards, designed specifically for Apple's Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
The company announced a new pricing schedule for the company's series of video capture/editing solutions is now in place, covering IgniterX Pro, IgniterX SDI, and IgniterX Studio systems, as well as a new SDI Dongle Option.
IgniterX Pro allows the video professional to connect to Betacam, Betacam SP, analog I/O of Digibeta decks, and other high-end DVCAM decks without the need for transcoders or adapters that could possibly degrade picture quality.
IgniterX SDI is designed for capture and playback of SDI video into Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere, and also for monitoring of broadcast graphics using Adobe AfterEffects or discreet combustion and an SDI-capable monitor.
Both the IgniterX Pro and IgniterX SDI systems are now available at the
reduced price of $2,999 USD.
Also now available at a reduced price of $3,999 USD is the IgniterX Studio,
the most versatile editing system available for Final Cut Pro. Designed to
meet the demands of today's most demanding studio environments, IgniterX
Studio combines all the features of IgniterX, IgniterX Pro, and IgniterX
SDI, allowing native capture of any professional format at the highest
image quality possible and without requiring converters or patches.
Aurora's IgniterX family of video capture and editing cards is designed to
be upgradeable, allowing editors to add features as their needs change, the manufacturer describes. The Pro Option and SDI Option for IgniterX provide smooth upgrade paths into greater functionality. Both are now available at $1,499 USD each.
Finally, the functionality of Aurora's SDI Option, without the breakout box, can be purchased as a dongle-only solution for $999 USD.
