InFocus Shows ScreenPlay 5700 Projector

Wilsonville, OR - InFocus Corporation has launched the new ScreenPlay 5700 home theatre projector.
The projector has 1000 lumens and 1400:1 contrast ratio for crisp blacks and detailed gray scale, the manufacturer describes. Calibrated to D65 color mastering standards for perfect HD colors, the projector can display 16.7 million colors simultaneously. There are eight selectable video sources. DLP technology provides true native 16:9 resolution (1024x576).
The ScreenPlay 5700 is also the first home projector to ship with the Matterhorn DLP technology from Texas Instruments, which provides native 16:9 resolution in the United States. The new DCDi from Faroudja has additional color and sharpness, noise reducers and a videophile-grade scaler.
The ScreenPlay 5700 will be available on June 25.
