TVOne Delivers DV TO Analog Converter

Orlando, FL - TV One is delivering the DV-1394-Pro SDI, a bi-directional DV to Analog converter.
Besides bi-directional DV-to-Analog Video and Audio conversion, the unit's SDI and AES EBU Audio I/O allows bi-directional conversion of DV-to-SDI. It also provides bi-directional Analog-to-SDI conversion.
All outputs work in parallel, so multiple tape machines and monitors can be connected at the same time, the manufacturer reports. There are two Firewire connectors on the DV1394-Pro SDI, one at the front and one at the back of the unit. For use in a broadcast studio or post production environment, the genlock interface allows the DV-1394-Pro SDI to be synchronized to a studio reference signal. The unit can be controlled by the front panel buttons and LCD or remotely via the RS-232 and RS-422 interfaces. It is housed in a 19" rackmount case and occupies only one RU.
The DV1394 Pro convertor is priced at $2,495.00; a basic DV-to-analog convertor is available for $295.
