Seattle, WA - Bodelin has launched a complete turnkey prompting package, including a Pocket PC unit, preloaded with proprietary ProPrompter software, a USB mouse to control the pace of the scroll, a foldable USB keyboard to make changes to the copy on the Pocket PC, and the ProPrompter hood with beam splitter glass and Pocket PC tray. Bodelin also has an LCD model, which utilizes a 5.6" LCD screen that mirrors any prompter software run from a laptop.
The ProPrompter mounts to almost any internal-focus broadcast, DV or movie camera lens, the manufacturer described. The one-way mirror system allows talent to read scrolling text off a PocketPC, created as a text document on a desktop computer or on the PocketPC.
The PocketPC is mounted underneath the camera lens; text can be scrolled forwards and backwards with a remote control mouse.
Both models are $1695 each.
