Vinten Shows New Fibertec Tripod Line

Las Vegas, NV - The New Fibertec tripod from Vinten received its first US showing at NAB; the product line had been previously announced.
The tripod is based on a unique "channel" leg section of carbon/glass composite, the manufacturer describes. This concept brings not only rigidity, but is also lightweight and quick in set-up.
The Spread-Loc mid-level spreader increases stability and flexibility in all-working environments i.e. small spaces, uneven ground, staircases etc and aids quick set-up, requiring just two tripod legs to be opened, as the third is driven automatically.
Fibertecīs lever action clamps are positioned adjacent to each other (at the top of their respective Stages) optimizing control of set-up and breakdown. The flush design of the low effort clamps ensure more secure locking while minimizing cable snags, accidental breakage and reducing set-up time.
