Zoom Control for Panasonic AG-DVX100 Announced

Las Vegas, NV - 16x9 Inc. has introduced a professional zoom lens control for the Panasonic AG-DVX100 camcorder. Manufactured by Bebob Engineering in Germany, the easy-to-use ZOE DVX puts true variable speed stepless zoom control at the operators fingertips. Plus, the tiny unit also provides Record Start/Stop.
Smartly designed with a sleek look and feel, ZOE DVX weighs just 4 ounces and elegantly clamps to the camera handle or tripod pan handle. Zoom control is via an ergonomically designed pressure sensitive rocker switch.
Unlike throttle controls, which can be difficult to manipulate with finesse, the responsive touch of the ZOE DVX pendulum rocker allows for smooth ramp-up and precision manipulation, whether executing a slow creep or a fast zoom. Professionals will appreciate that the jerky starts and stops often associated with Mini DV zooms are virtually eliminated with ZOE.
The ZOE DVX features glitch-free proprietary software specially designed to work with Panasonics protocols. Set-up is quick and easy. A single cable plugs into the Cam Remote on the back of the AG-DVX100 and the ZOE is ready to deliver smooth zooms.
ZOE DVX features a weather-resistant housing of virtually unbreakable 3mm polycarbonate. The system offers a straight mini-jack plug to avoid blocking other ports and a strain relief mounted cable, short enough to prevent slack, from interfering with panning functions. A self-contained, quick-release clamp with a flexible-mounting stem facilitates easy attachment to standard tripod arms up to 24mm in diameter.
