Anton/Bauer Unveils Stasis

Las Vegas,NV - Anton/Bauer has unveiled a new camera support product that combines a power system, designed for MiniDV camcorders such as the Sony PD-150,the JVC GY-DV300orthe Panasonic DVX-100.
The Stasis shoulder-supported unit features a DC-to-DC converter that delivers power supply to any 6 volt camera using a Gold Mount battery. The unit can also provide power for wireless microphone receivers, mini lights or other accessories.
Its collapsible design allows the unit to be transported and set-up quickly. Folded, it measures 9”x 5 1/4” x 4”. Extended, it wraps over the operator’s shoulder, using the battery as a counterweight. The camera support extends forward.
Stasis incorporates a quick-release camera mount, and can be used with monopods or lightweight video tripod heads. The unit weighs about two pounds.
The unit, with accessories, will be available in May. The basic list price is $495.
