WEVA NEWS MINUTE: Stabilizing With Stasis
March 10, 2006
Sarasota, FL - The Anton/Bauer Stasis System is a lightweight support arm that offers stable, "shoulder mount" and hand-held shooting using MiniDV camcorders.
The system redirects the geometry of the camcorder to reduce "shake" and enable smooth shooting.
The Stasis frame supports the camera weight. Its adjustable front plate takes weight off the operator's hand. The rear battery mount counters the forward weight of the camera.
You can see close up, how the Stasis connects to a small-size camcorder, and how Stasis features apply in this WEVA NEWS MINUTE video shot by Bruce Himmelblau. To watch Click Here! (WEVA members: use your ID and go to WEVA-TV in the members-only section of the Forums. Allow for QuickTime download).
