Live Webcast Planned From NY Town Meeting

Long Island, NY - The first hour of the WEVA New York Town Meeting will be webcast live, according to Tour Director Tim Ryan. WEVA Live From New York will start at 7:00 pm Eastern Time on Monday, January 21, 2002.
Brought to the web by The Broadcast Team, who partnered with WEVA to webcast segments of WEVA Expo 2001, the New York Town Meeting also reunites the Stream Team. Ed Cannata will be directing the Stream Team, and the webcast will give viewers to learn exactly what the Stream Team is doing.
"Every presenter wants to go first," said Ryan, when asked who would be featured on the webcast. "Roy Chapman will be there, as will Luisa Winters, Lance Gray, as well as Donna and Robin Greenwood." Ryan added, "we are still finalizing the program," which means that other names could be added to the schedule.
The New York Town Meeting always draws the largest crowd of all the Tour stops. WEVA has now made it possible, by logging on to the web site, for videographers everywhere to see what makes New York such a special place. |
