Final Round WEVA CEA Judging Concludes in Orlando

Sarasota, FL - The final round of international competition judging for the WEVA 15th Annual Creative Excellence Awards Competition (CEA) concluded last week in Orlando, FL. The judges, all professional wedding & event videographers from around the country, were sequestered for the better part of the week in order to complete the final round of judging for the wedding and event video industry’s top competition awards.
The WEVA 2005 CEA winning entries will be announced on Monday, August 8, 2005 at the WEVA EXPO 2005 Opening Night Creative Excellence Video Fest.
The WEVA 15th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo 2005 (Aug. 8-11) will showcase the winning entries in their entirety in multi-monitor screenings at the EXPO's Creative Excellence Video Fest, open to all registered attendees and spouses. WEVA EXPO’s Opening Night celebration of excellence in professional wedding & event video creativity allows all convention attendees to see “the best of the best” productions side-by-side while networking with one another.
“It will be an exhilarating and absolutely inspiring way to begin our landmark 15th year EXPO,” said WEVA International’s Director of Association Communications Dan Argenas. The WEVA 2005 Creative Excellence Awards Competition, the longest-running and most prestigious awards competition in the industry features 14 separate video production categories that honor creative excellence. Every year, professional videographers around the globe are encouraged to enter their finest productions.
“The competition is open to professional videographers worldwide, and always draws outstanding, breakthrough videos,” said WEVA International Chairman Roy Chapman. “The judges said they left Orlando last week blown-away by the spectacular work they saw in the final round. Each one of the judges said this year’s CEA Competition has once again raised the bar to an all new level, and that the Creative Excellence Video Fest at WEVA EXPO 2005 on August 8 will be an awesome display of innovative and breathtaking creativity!”
