New Wedding Video Promotion Initiatives Underway

Sarasota, FL - With the 15th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo (August 8-11, 2005) just around the corner, the Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA) is planning to unveil major bridal industry promotions.
“Our association has been working behind-the-scenes on several new wedding video promotion initiatives that are designed to recognize and spotlight the value of professional videography and the work of WEVA International members,” said WEVA International Director of Association Communications Dan Argenas. “We’re looking forward to making the first of these exciting announcements soon on the WEVA News section of the WEVA website.”
The WEVA Public Relations Committee, chaired by WEVA International member Kris Malandruccolo (IL), “has been playing an instrumental role in the formulation of new strategies for educating brides and gaining greater recognition for the outstanding work being produced by WEVA International members,” Argenas said.
“We have wanted an easy way to ‘spread the news’ to videographers when fellow WEVA members have their individual work, business, or community service projects featured in national, regional, and local media. That’s what prompted the WEVA Public Relations Committee to suggest adding a new “Members In the News” section to the WEVA Forums.”
