Avid Signs-On As 'Platinum Sponsor' for WEVA EXPO

Sarasota, FL - The Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA) has announced that Avid Technology, Inc. has signed-on as a Platinum Sponsor for this year’s landmark 15th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo (August 8-11, 2005) at the Las Vegas Hilton.
“Our association is pleased that Avid Technology is showing uplifting support for the show that has made wedding & event videographers more successful, year-after-year for well over a decade,” said WEVA International Director of Association Communications Dan Argenas.
“Recognizing that WEVA EXPO attendees are dedicated videographers who want professional system training in order to keep improving their artistry and their business, Avid has planned an all-new and enlarged exhibit for the EXPO’s milestone event," said Argenas. "It will feature hands-on, edit-system training on Avid computer workstations right on the WEVA show floor. The system training is being tailored specifically to professional wedding & event work and will be offered at no charge to registered attendees throughout the two-day WEVA EXPO 2005 Trade Show."
