New WEVA-TV Video Shows 'WE' in WEVA in Action
June 22, 2005
Sarasota, FL - New video additions to the WEVA International home page at www.weva.com, produced by WEVA International members, are displaying the increasing diversity of advanced skill-sets within WEVA's multi-talented membership.
"The WEVA website," said Dan Argenas, Director of Association Communications at WEVA, "clearly says WEVA International members produce wedding videos--but also much more, too! The new WEVA NEWS MINUTE videos and graphics produced by longtime WEVA International member Bruce Himmelblau are not only informative, they are also an innovative example of 'corporate work.' Another creative example is the brand new and exciting WEVA EXPO 2005 Preview Video," said Argenas.
The latest WEVA-TV videos and new WEVA AUDIO MEDIA files, he noted, also show WEVA International members networking with one another and sharing tasks on jobs that involve working with fellow members from different cities around the globe.
The WEVA EXPO 2005 Preview Video, was produced by WEVA International members Chris Chibucos and Javier Villareal who are based in the Chicagoland area. "It includes not only their own creative concept footage, but also footage shot by Grant Fu of Honolulu, HI and is combined with highlights of last year's awesome BATTLE OF THE VIDEOGRAPHERS! segments produced by WEVA members Brett Culp, Monica Arellano and JT Fannin (FL), Lance Gray, Brian Gunn and Russ Jolly (TX), Steve and Laura Moses (CA), Josh Fozzard (IL), and other amazing work," Argenas said. "It's an outstanding example of the 'WE' in WEVA in action. WEVA has always been about members sharing their skills and networking with one another, and as a result, elevating the industry."
From the very beginning, Argenas adds, "WEVA International has been unifying videographers and bringing the community together collectively, which has enabled members to grow stronger individually."
It's that "strengthened sense of community and shared vision," he notes, "that makes WEVA EXPO, for example, such an inspiring convention for videographers worldwide."
This August, wedding & event videographers will be coming to WEVA EXPO 2005 from as far as South Africa, Asia, England, Australia, Canada, and Mexico.
"WEVA EXPO not only provides the finest opportunity to learn new skills and check out cutting-edge technology," Argenas said, "it's also the best place to network and form lasting relationships with fellow videographers from across the country and internationally. And, this August, in WEVA EXPO's brand new location at the world famous Las Vegas Hilton, it's going to be the association's most exciting convention to date!"
