Atlanta, NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, Las Vegas Scheduled for 2005 WEVA Town Meeting Tour

Sarasota, FL - “City-stops on the 7th Annual WEVA Town Meeting Tour 2005 will include Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, New York City, and Las Vegas (at NAB),” said WEVA International Director of Association Communications Dan Argenas.
The annual WEVA winter tour, which begins in late February/early March 2005 will be the best opportunity of the season for professional wedding and event videographers to take a break and update their video business knowledge and technical skills. WEVA Town Meeting admission is free of charge to industry professionals.
“At each city-stop, videographers will be able to see WEVA Creative Excellence Award winning videos at the Town Meeting Video Fest, learn cutting-edge production and marketing techniques, get inside information on new “niche” business opportunities that are producing extra income for sharp-marketing videographers, go hands-on with new digital video gear, and network with fellow videographers,” Argenas related.
WEVA Town Meeting events are almost like a mini-version of WEVA EXPO. At each city-stop, attendees have their choice of daytime WEVA Institute workshops, all of which are devoted to professional wedding and event videographers. “The upcoming Tour will spotlight state-of-the-art technology and offer extended system training that is vital for success in today’s competitive wedding and event video market,” said Argenas.
“New for 2005, will be an extra day of WEVA Institute programming along with testing for the new WEVA Merited Professional Videographer (MPV) accreditation program at select city-stops on the Tour,” said John Zale, WEVA International’s Director of Educational Development.
“WEVA conferences are always Number One for discovering new trends, new techniques, new technology, and how to really improve your success as a professional videographer,” said Argenas. “And because WEVA Town Meetings attract hundreds of both WEVA members and non-members for these special, one-night-only events, the networking at each Tour-stop is unbeatable!”
