Tripod Development Committee Formed

Sarasota, FL - Having had successes working with camera manufacturers, as well as NLE companies, WEVA International is now organizing a Tripod Development Committee. The committee chair will be veteran videographer Marleen Cafarelli, co-owner of Video Art Works, in Connecticut.
"Something specifically for our needs" as wedding and event videographers has to be designed, said Cafarelli. A "grab and go" system that is both lightweight and able to support larger cameras is the committee's initial target, she added. Cafarelli also said "as more women join the ranks of videographers, this need is emphasized".
The development of both tripods and monopods for these tasks are on the committee's agenda. Cafarelli noted that all the major tripod manufacturers are being invited to participate with WEVA in this committee effort.
