New Sponsors Join Returnees For 2002 Tour
September 28, 2001
Sarasota, FL - WEVA's Town Meeting Tour for 2002 will bring a great mix of new and returning Sponsors to the 10 cities on the schedule.
Sony and Panasonic, both familiar names to WEVA members, return as Town Meeting Tour Sponsors. "WEVA has a long and productive history with Sony and Panasonic," according to WEVA Executive Director Roy Chapman. "Sony and Panasonic have worked closely with the WEVA Camcorder Committee to develop the tools WEVA member videographers use every day," he added.
New to the Tour for 2002 is Moore Digital Services. Based in Stratham, NH, Moore Digital is a leading DVD transfer house. The DVD format is the fastest-selling consumer electronics product in history, and Moore Digital allows WEVA members to start profiting from that fact.
Just added to the 2002 Tour is Canopus Corporation. A leading manufacturer of editing systems and software, their US headquarters is in San Jose, CA. Canopus non-linear systems have enabled many WEVA members to produce outstanding, creative videos in a cost-effective manner.
As announced at WEVA Expo 2001, the following cities will be hosting a Town Meeting (in alphabetical order): Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, New York City, San Diego, San Jose, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Exact dates, and the presenters for each city, will be announced shortly. |
