'Afternoon with Apple' Back for WEVA EXPO 2004

Sarasota, FL - Following-up on the success of their presentation last year, Apple has scheduled an all-new 4.5 hour pre-convention workshop for WEVA EXPO 2004 (August 16-19) to provide intensive training on their latest products.
This special, system-specific session is designed to offer WEVA EXPO attendees an outstanding opportunity to learn how Apple's new products for professionals operate in a “real world” workflow environment.
Attendees will learn how to use Apple's professional application lineup, including Final Cut Express 2, Final Cut Pro HD, DVD Studio Pro 3, Motion and Soundtrack. System training by members of the Apple product teams will enable wedding and event videographers to gain a deeper understanding of the applications, and will include tips and tricks to increase efficiency and creativity.
“The extended workshop, taught by experts from Apple, is designed to provide videographers who register for this afternoon session with enhanced editing skills and increased production knowledge regarding these powerful applications,” said Dan Argenas, WEVA International's new Director of Association Communications.
The “Afternoon with Apple” workshop will be held from 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm on Monday August 16, 2004 at Bally’s Las Vegas. Seating is limited. Workshop registration (opening soon at www.weva.com) will be on a first-come basis.
Apple will also have a major presence at the WEVA EXPO 2004 Trade Show where the company will feature hands-on instruction on Apple workstations set up in the Apple exhibit area.
WEVA EXPO, the world's largest convention and trade show for professional videographers, is open all wedding and event video professionals worldwide. This year's convention will officially open at 5:45 pm Monday, August 16, 2004 with the special "Opening Night Gala" featuring the WEVA 14th Annual Creative Excellence Video Fest, and will close by 5:00 pm Thursday, August 19, 2004.
