Professional Videographers Association Awards Competition Opens Soon

Sarasota, FL - All professional videographers are invited to enter the annual WEVA competition. The approach of the 14th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo (August 16-19)means that the Call for Entries in the WEVA 14th Annual Creative Excellence Awards Competition is coming soon.
The WEVA Creative Excellence Awards Competition honors outstanding achievement in professional wedding and event videography. Winning entries in the various wedding and event video categories will be screened at the WEVA Creative Excellence Video Festival to be held during WEVA EXPO.
"In 2003, WEVA International presented awards in a record-setting 12 categories, ranging from Wedding Demo Production to Wedding DVD Authoring. Over three dozen WEVA Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards of Distinction were presented at the Opening Night Celebration at WEVA EXPO 2003," said Steve Wernick, WEVA Media Relations Director. "With some categories being revised for 2004, the competition promises to be as creative and exciting as ever!"
WEVA Creative Excellence entries are submitted by professional videographers from across the country and around the globe making the annual event the industry’s largest competition. With all entries evaluated by both objective and subjective measures, and because a new, independent panel of judges is seated each year, the WEVA Creative Excellence Awards Competition is recognized as the most prestigious in the profession.
The official 2004 competition entry forms along with this year's category rules and regulations, and deadline for entries, will be posted on the WEVA International website at www.weva.com before the end of April 2004. All WEVA CEA winners will be officially announced at the WEVA EXPO 2004 Opening Night Gala on Monday August 16, 2004, and the list of winners will be posted on the WEVA website.
