Sony, Avid & Adobe Join WEVA Town Meeting Tour
October 31, 2003
Sarasota, FL - The 6th Annual WEVA Town Meeting Tour will bring cutting-edge
technology and training to professional wedding and event videographers in five cities this winter. Already on-board as 2004 Town Meeting sponsors and system-specific presenters are Sony, Avid, and Adobe Systems.
“Beginning in late February, the WEVA Town Meeting Tour 2004 will travel to Dallas,
Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York and Las Vegas (during NAB week),” said Tour Director
Tim Ryan.
The WEVA Town Meeting Tour, which draws hundreds of attendees at every event, will offer a full day of educational sessions to professional videographers at each city-stop in 2004. The daytime workshops will be followed by the evening Town Meeting that features special hands-on exhibits by the Tour Sponsors, screenings of WEVA Creative Excellence Award winning wedding and event productions, presentations by leading WEVA videographers, and more.
"The programming available at a WEVA Town Meeting offers videographers an
opportunity to jump-start their technical skills and discover exciting new trends
emerging in wedding and event production creativity," said Ryan. "Attendees will see
exciting new digital technology and system solutions in the special exhibits by the
Tour sponsors. Plus, the local networking opportunities are truly remarkable," Ryan
added.
Exact WEVA Town Meeting dates and hotel locations will be announced shortly.
Registration and program information for the 2004 Tour will be opening soon on the
WEVA International website.
