Upgraded Classified Ads Section Goes Live

Sarasota, FL - In response to member input, the Classified Ads section of the WEVA International Forums at www.weva.com has been upgraded, and is now available for viewing by non-members who want to purchase used video production equipment, said WEVA International Chairman Roy Chapman.
The new, improved WEVA Classified Ads section now lists 18 different categories to reflect the wide range of technology used by professional wedding and event videographers in the course of doing business. The used equipment categories include camcorders, nonlinear editing systems, batteries, lighting, audio gear, and more.
“We’re excited that the new changes now allow members to post photos of their used gear for sale along with text descriptions. In response to member requests, the Classified Ads Forum has been moved from the password-protected area of the popular WEVA Forums section to allow public viewing of the used equipment listings. While only current WEVA International members may post ads, non-members may now view all of the listings and contact members directly to purchase the items for sale,” Chapman said.
He added that the new system also allows WEVA members greater control over the contents of their listings. In addition to using the new photo feature, members can access new edit and delete controls for their individual listings.
“We are pleased to see the new WEVA Classified Ads system ‘go live’ and thank all members for their suggestions,” said Chapman. “Changes will continue to be made to the WEVA website and to the members-only WEVA Forums section, including the upcoming addition of more WEVA-TV clips that show the cutting-edge creativity of WEVA International members.”
