Sarasota, FL - Mark your calendar now! The dates for WEVA EXPO 2002 are now confirmed. The 12th Annual International Convention and Trade Show for Professional Wedding & Event Videographers will be held Monday, August 26, 2002--Thursday, August 29, 2002 at Bally's, in the heart of Las Vegas!
Expanding on the success of this year's convention, WEVA EXPO 2002 will soar to greater heights as we explore the most exciting innovations in professional wedding and event videography including all new camera creativity, the most successful add-ons and add-ins, new era marketing, the latest new developments in video-on-the-web (consumer and corporate work), DVD production, multi-NLE editing techniques, sales and business strategies, and much more. Plus you'll attend the world's largest Trade Show of new hardware, software and accessories devoted exclusively to our industry.

In returning to Bally's, right in the heart of Las Vegas, we are pleased to announce there will be no increase in room rates for all WEVA EXPO 2002 attendees and exhibitors. Rates at spectacular 4-star Bally's, will be only $79/night (single or double occupancy, kids 18 & under stay free), and WEVA will again offer a Room-Share Program making WEVA EXPO 2002 affordable for all to attend. The special Bally's reservation rate will remain valid three days before and three days after the official WEVA EXPO dates. Bally's will begin taking reservations starting November 14, 2001 at 1-800-7BALLYS or 1-702-739-4111. Be sure to mention WEVA EXPO 2002 when you make your reservations.
WEVA EXPO 2002 will officially open Monday evening, August 26, 2002 at 5:45 pm and close by 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2002. The weekday schedule allows all videographers the opportunity to book events before and after the EXPO and still be able to attend the entire convention. For those arriving early, WEVA will present a choice of pre-convention workshops on Monday afternoon.
